Not Done Yet: Mick Jagger Shares Update on The Rolling Stones’ Future Tour Plans

By Mariana A Jun 1, 2026 | 3:56 AM

Mick Jagger has made it clear that he still wants The Rolling Stones to return to the road. During a recent radio interview, the singer said he would love to tour again and cannot wait to get back onstage, while also making clear that fans should not expect an immediate announcement.

The Rolling Stones do not currently have any confirmed concerts on the calendar, and Jagger said he does not think a tour will happen this year. His comments suggest the band remains open to more live shows, but only when the timing works for everyone involved.

Keith Richards has also pointed to next year as the earliest point for serious tour discussions, saying the band is still weighing what comes after its current recording plans. That leaves the door open without turning the conversation into a firm schedule.

For fans, the message is simple: The Rolling Stones are not announcing dates yet, but the idea of seeing them back onstage is still very much alive.
