CAM’RON ACCUSED OF TRANSPHOBIA OVER MEME ABOUT MEGAN THEE STALLION AND TORY LANEZ: Cam’ron was at the center of social media backlash on Thursday, July 23rd, after uploading an insensitive meme about the shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion. This is the same shooting that took place just before Tory Lanez‘s arrest on a gun charge on July 12th. The IG post read, “Tory Lanez saw that d**k and started shootn. IDC what no one say.” Cam captioned the post, “Ayoooo… Da net wins again.” He was immediately slammed and accused of being transphobic after insinuating that Megan is transgender.
DRAYA APOLOGIZES TO MEGAN THEE STALLION AFTER JOKING ABOUT SHOOTING INCIDENT: Former Basketball Wives star Draya Michele has issued another apology to Megan Thee Stallion after making a joke about the Houston rapper getting shot in the foot last weekend while attempting to leave an SUV that she was riding in with Tory Lanez. While on Steelo Brim‘s Wine & Weed podcast, Draya said of the incident involving Megan and Tory, “I predict that they had some sort of Bobby and Whitney love that drove them down this Snapped-esque type of road. I'm here for it . . . I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too.” She received quite a bit of backlash and apologized. Megan then had some choice words for her and now, Draya is expressing remorse once again. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “I just want to take a min to address victims of domestic violence and abuse of any kind and just overall humans, I was wrong to insinuate that there is room for violence in loving relationships, or in any relationship for that matter. I was wrong to try to find humor or make light of the situation, and understand that my joking nature was damaging and hurtful. It was poor judgment and I deeply regret it. This is a sincere apology from me to everyone.”
